This is a Hardened Stainless Steel 15 mm taper gauge made in Japan by Shinwa Measuring Instruments. Face has a zero glare satin chrome finish which makes it easy to read and will prevent corrosion. Markings are precision photo etched and then black filled for easy readability. Both tapered edges are ground straight. Accurate +/- 0.05 mm.
